Color in diamonds starts with the color "D" and continues through to "Z", where "D "is the perfect absence of color and "Z" a very yellow
diamond, but not a fancy yellow. For fine jewelry we recommend Grades D through I.
The chart below shows the various costs of a diamond based on it's color, assuming all else is equal. In this case, we have chosen to use a 1.00 carat round
diamond with a clarity rating of VS2. Note that prices are subject to other factors (such as depth, polish, ect.) but should give you
an idea of how a difference of color can effect the price of a stone.
